Merry Whatever-You-Celebrated-Yester Day [Dec. 26th, 2009|01:00 pm]
Hope everyone had a good time. I celebrated Christmas. It's a very interesting myth that I find just hilarious. I know a few people who celebrated Festivus. I tried that one once. Not really my thing, far too depressing and spiteful for my tastes. Spent the whole time bitching about organized religion and barefoot kittens. No thank you. I'll keep my jolly fat fuck and free shit.

And food! Damn did we eat a lot of food yesterday. We cooked for 9 people and that's about how many came.

I'm gonna speed this up as the computer acting slow and needs a rest.

Sassy's been quite a brat and probably should've had her presents taken away. Had it been solely my call, they'd be gone right now. Granted she's only 4, so this year is serving as a warning. Santa won't be so jolly next year.

Santa Claus is coming...to TOWN!

My subject is killing me. [Dec. 22nd, 2009|09:04 pm]
My sinuses drained in the night last night. Dry throat was all, but then it became a head cold and chills. I'm now wrapped up in three thick layers with a temperature of 100.6.

I can breathe through my nose though. Hot stuff. Heh heh h...ow...! Gonna sleep now and maybe watch Craig Ferguson.

Praying to the Porcelain Subject [Dec. 20th, 2009|11:34 am]
2am, I'm up throwing up for a still fuzzy reason. It was the first time I'd had cheesecake, so I kinda want to blame that. Combine that with some over-the-counter pain pills for a neck cramp, a shot of Tequila Rose and a few sips off a wine cooler, and what I'm told was too warm a room to be sleeping in. And *bleck*.

Fun Fun. Feeling better. Today we open presents on Jeni's side of the family.

I know how that sounded looking back on it. No, Jeni and I aren't married yet. Time to get ready and shower.

Subject: Return [Dec. 19th, 2009|02:15 pm]
Dear goose-nipples it's been a while since I've been on here. I ought to catch people up, but I don't even remember where I've left off.

Well, first things first. Check this out:

Is it me or is this thing a touch... uh... suggestive? Just replace the green with... oh never mind.

Right, on to other less slimy things. My goal now in addition to finish writing everything that I've begun, is to acquire three computers; a Mac OSX, a WinXP PC and a Win98 PC.

The OSX will never see the light of internet. Ever. It will be my project compy. My music, stories and whatever else.

The XP compy will be for internet surfing, blogging (the multitude that I do that.) that sort of thing.

And the Win98 will be for gaming, online and otherwise. Damn near every game I care to play is compatible with '98, especially Dungeon Keeper 2! I'm having such bad withdrawals from this game and XP only runs it when it feels like, crashing intermittently whenever there's more than 5 creatures on the screen. If you've played it, you'd know that's nothing.

I'm not thinking that I'll get back into WoW again, despite having the occasional flashback even though I've been off it for longer than was on it in the first place.

I won't own anything with Vista or 7 on it. Any "new" systems I get will be Mac OS. Windows had one gold nugget among their systems. that was '98. Even XP falls short to me. Anyone that's going to sing the glories of Windows7 to me, go ahead I suppose. It's no secret that I resist change when the risk of disappointment is high. I never jumped on the Vista bandwagon for this reason and I believe it was the smart choice. If you think you can convince me 7 truly is something special, let me know, but expect to defend your claim.

And if anyone has any online games they'd suggest I should play, perhaps with you, drop me a line, but if it has a monthly fee to play, I doubt I can go through with it, with having no job and constant taxes on what money I have.

That's all for now. I hope to be on more in the coming days. James, out.

eh... [Oct. 22nd, 2009|04:13 pm]
I don't actually have anything to say. I just want to make him wait. So... nod, like I'm saying something important.

Rock Band 2 and other things I've MASTERED. [Oct. 6th, 2009|03:17 pm]
So I've got Rock Band 2 for Wii, right? I finally unlock the "Endless Setlist 2." Which is every song that comes with the game, one after the next, in one shot. This adds up to 84 songs. I started this at 12:30pm yesterday, and at noon today, nearly 24 hours later, I finished it on Expert!

What this is all about is does anyone else have this game on Wii and potentially want to play online together? Get with me, I'm geeking out over here and I've recently fallen in love with the online play of the game.

XBG LFB for anything.

Remember, remember (The Guy Fawkes Day Party) [Oct. 1st, 2009|08:03 pm]
As it stands, we're still planning to have the party. Though, we'll probably be having it at the house here (Jeni's). Anyone wanting to attend, PM me for directions and the sort. We'll be showing V For Vendetta, preceded by the behind the scenes features (about an hour). When I know the specifics of when the festivities will begin, I'll pass the info along.

It will be on the 5th of November. In case anyone was confused.

Hope to see everyone there.

Farewell [Jun. 26th, 2009|03:14 pm]
We now bid a solemn goodbye to one of the world's dearest entertainers. Incomparable in his field, he never failed to please his audience, regardless of age. The years in the spotlight he wore well and was never without a smile on his face.

And so it's with a sad face, heavy heart and deepest condolences that we say goodbye.
Rest in peace; Ed McMahon.

Oh and how could I forget...

Another dear entertainer we must bid farewell to with a career spanning decades passed away just yesterday. A multiple award nominee, never before did any other entertainer ever so perfectly embody fame.

You will be dearly missed; Farrah Fawcett.

And we lost Micheal Jackson too, like you didn't already know.

This Subject's kickin' my ass! [Jun. 14th, 2009|11:41 pm]
This is a day to remember. A bunch went down today, nothing really "bad", but... well, here:

Jeni and I went out and picked up her dog Jack from her mom, brought him home and our cat Priscilla promptly went into hiding.

We had a cookout today, during which our upstairs neighbor Christina was planning to get rid of her two kittens because they were peeing and crapping all over the apartment despite them being litter-trained. So we claimed one of them; Alice.

Also, while we were outside, I was swinging my quarterstaff around. (pictured above) I managed to clobber myself in the face with it. Bashed right into my sunglasses which then jammed into my face and cut me deep right over my eye. It's not bad though, cleaned it, bandaged and now it's just a nice red line through my eyebrow. Sunglasses weren't even bent after that. Not a sign of damage whatsoever.

So then we finally bring Alice down to our place. She's dealing with the dog very well. Priscilla is even more pissed off now. Jeni's trying to calm the kittehs in the bedroom right now. Jack's curled up at my feet.

Lastly, while we're introducing Alice and Jack, Christina calls and says the other kitten Cullen (yes, named for the family in Twilight.) fell off a table and is refusing to walk on one of his paws. We went up and took a look. We're certain it's not broken, we're even pretty sure it's not dislocated. He could move it and began trying to put pressure on it, though it proved to painful. It seems to us that he just jacked his leg really good and it hurts like hell. Kinda like what my hip is doing.

My eye itches, cats are angry, another cat's hurt. It's been an interesting day. And here yesterday morning, Jeni and I were feeling that "off" feeling. Like "disturbance in the force" kinda thing. But nothing happened... yesterday...

This subject is the bomb! [May. 27th, 2009|09:11 pm]
It's called Shasta Cola. They come in 4-pack cans of 16oz. Cool, right? They taste somewhere between RC Cola and Coke. Also cool. That four pack of them costs... $1! That's a quarter a can!

Dude! Fucking WEEEEEEEEEEE! And I don't have to drive clear into Egypt to get it either. It's just right down the road next to Wal-Mart. HELL yes! That's really all I can say about this. It rocks. It's like the new Faygo. (O.O) Let the Nerd-Rage ensue.
